I'm thrilled that we're finally at the decision-making stage of our engagement. For the first while I dreamt, browsed, and changed my mind over and over again about how I wanted the over all look and feel of our wedding to be. I'm so glad that I've veered away from the initial vision in my head. The whole thing doesn't need to be head-to-toe in my favourite colour! (Phew, it was almost an explosion of yellow.)
A mint + light pink, with touches of silver and gold look sounds just perfect to me now. I want a sort of rustic elegance feel that's not overdone. I'm a DIY girl and I want that to show. I'm also loving that stylish little pop of chevron, done simply in a napkin. We're getting married at the beginning of June, so I want a light, airy, and soft feel. A spring garden, if you will?
I feel so lucky to be planning my wedding at a time where we have things like Pinterest! Glorious, glorious Pinterest.
