If You're Wondering What Our Christmas Looked Like...

It went a little something like this.

First there was the champagne and orange juice ordeal.  We made the mistake of allowing me to open the bottle.  It resulted in bubbly all over the floor and some footsteps above us scurrying like cockroaches.  But was it ever yummy!

Of course there were presents.   My "silly" gift this year was an Easy Bake Oven.  GUYS!  AN EASY BAKE OVEN!  I did not have one of these growing up.  I can't quite figure out why... But Honey knew that I had always wanted one, bless his heart.

I was an awesome Santa this year and got Buns a guitar.  It is an Epiphone (by Gibson), and I'm pretty dang proud of myself.  Buns does love it, but that is not nearly as important as the fact that I bought it.

There were some B&E.  Obviously.

There was a Pops, in his brand-spankin' new Hooters T.  Brought to him by a future son-in-law who thinks he's really funny.

There was the reading of the Batman Files.

And a sleepy Buns.

There was a brother.

There was a really pretty Mama who also happens to be the best cook.

There was an outdoor adventure where-in we experimented with our new lens, which we love so much we could throw up.

There were cattails.

And leaves shaped like hearts.

There was a sun, and there were some trees.

And sometimes these two combined in just the right way for me.

There were a couple turkeys who maybe ate a little too much.

There was relaxing time with family.

There was this dog, who is really silly and gets me all giddy and stuff.  Because I love dogs like that.

And there were oodles of tasty drinks.

Most importantly, there was quality time spent with the people whom I love the most in this world.
Christmas 2011, you did not fail to disappoint.

I'm still chuckling over the "we love it so much we could throw up" comment up there. Bwa ha! Reminds me of a 30 Rock episode...do you watch that show? Love me some 30 Rock. And I also love that phrase, "love it so much I could throw up."

Glad your Christmas was so fantastic!
